Good to know

  • The Day 01 plan suits morning or midday arrivals. Evening arrivals can go straight to dinner at the hotel.
  • May–Sep is monsoon season on the Bentota coast. Pasikuda or Trincomalee make a better beach ending then.
  • Reserved and observation seats on the hill-country train sell out. Book as soon as dates are confirmed.
  • Temple visits: shoulders and knees covered; shoes and hats off at shrines.
  • Travel times are approximate and depend on traffic, weather and photo stops.
